About

I just like understanding how things work.

I started building things with computers when I was a kid. MMO bots first — macros that automated gameplay, scripts that watched patterns and acted on them. Then game servers, modded clients, anything I could take apart and put back together differently. I didn't know what I was doing had a name. I just liked systems.

I went to college for international business and Spanish, studied abroad in Costa Rica, then pivoted to economics for grad school. None of that was wasted — I kept running into problems that could be solved with code, and eventually I stopped pretending that wasn't the job I wanted.

These days I build data pipelines, multi-agent systems, and whatever else I get curious about. I work across messy datasets from different sources, build tools to wrangle them, and try to make the output useful. I've built compression formats, in-memory transfer protocols, and more SharePoint-based infrastructure than anyone should probably admit to.

I'm pursuing my MS in Computer Science at Old Dominion University because I wanted the research side — not just building things, but understanding why they work the way they do. My current research is on how humans interact with AI agents: what happens when you have to approve or deny actions under time pressure, and how that behavior changes with different setups.

I also play competitive Melee and Valorant, make playlists constantly, and have a cat who is probably the most enriched indoor cat in Virginia.
